It's easy to install using just two screws that are already built into your MPC. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. No drilling, no hassle.
Compatible with the Akai MPC X and MPC X SE and other MPC units (see additional listings for compatibility), the PORTSAVER wraps around the power port, USB ports, and Ethernet port to provide added support and reduce stress on the PCB board, where damage tends to happen. It also covers the side of the power button without affecting how it works.

At MPCstuff, we deal with broken ports all the time, and this part was designed based on years of hands-on repair experience. It's a simple upgrade that helps protect your MPC and gives you peace of mind whether you're in the studio, at a show, or just on the move.
USB and Power Cable Fitment Notes:
Our design fits the original Akai ports and, in testing, worked with about 90% of aftermarket USB and power cables. Cable thickness can vary, so some trial and error may be needed. Akai has changed the design of their OEM power adapter several times, but our part is compatible with every version we've tested, including many aftermarket options. Still, we can't guarantee every third-party cable will fit.
