'True Essence' features 396 drum samples created in tribute to Primo's distinctive raw sound, including 20 drum kits and 20 beat sequences inspired by his unique drum sequencing style. The drum library consists of 336 sounds; 96 kicks, 96 snares, 96 hats, and 48 percussion sounds, all heavily layered and processed through our collection of vintage gear to ensure maximum crunch and warmth, while invoking the classic East Coast Primo sound. A further 60 kicks, hats and snares make up the additional 20 drum kits, all of which are laid out identically in MPC program files, allowing for easy mixing and matching of sounds within your beats. We also created 20 multi-track beat sequences in a Primo style, with each sequence giving you complete control over tempo, event data and assigned sounds, allowing you to easily create your own customised beat sequences in seconds.
